Since being founded, the Indians have won 7 Central Division titles, 5 AL Pennants, and 2 World Series titles; they have also finished as one of the top 3 teams in their division over 40 times. Because of their ability to consistently excel against the competition, the Indians have some of the most loyal fans in MLB history. In fact, in 1995, the Indians began a record-breaking 455-home-game sellout streak that lasted for almost six years. During that time, the Indians finished 1st in their division 6 times, won the American League Championship Series twice, and made 2 World Series appearances. Not surprisingly (given their success), the Indians franchise has been home to some of the best players in professional baseball history, including Cy Young, Phil Niekro, Bob Feller, Al Lopez, Frank Robinson, Eddie Murray, Hoyt Wilhelm, Early Wynn, Joe Sewell, and many others.
